E-Commerce Intern (New York, NY)

About the Position

We are looking for an eager and highly motivated E-Commerce Intern to work in our New York office. The Intern will assist with on-site merchandising, quality assurance for marketing campaign and promotion , and reporting for WBshop.com, HarryPottershop.com, HobbitShop.com, ShopDCEntertainment.com, and CartoonNetworkShop.com.  The position is anticipated to work 20-30 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • On-Site Merchandising: Use a web-based content management system to assist in merchandising products for website features and email marketing campaigns. Place banners, landing pages and other selling tools. Maintain merchandising calendar. Create promotions, coupon codes and special offers.
  • Category Maintenance and Development and Research: Develop expertise with web-based software applications and internally-developed systems to create and populate product categories. Facilitate departmental reports for key categories, researching the competitive landscape to make recommendations related to pricing, on-site merchandising and assortment strategies. Develop expertise of products, brands and overall categories.
  • Campaign and Promotion Quality Assurance: Work with website programmers/project managers to resolve issues and assist in thoroughly testing new website developments and promotional coupons.
  • Coding Emails: Work from existing email templates to create weekly campaign emails using HTML/CSS.
  • Online Campaign Analytics Reporting: Run reports on performance of campaigns, banners and promotions.
  • Knowledge of FTP Servers: Understand how to navigate through an FTP server to upload/download files.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Currently a junior or senior college student, or recent college graduate.
  • Experience working with web-based content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. JavaScript is a plus. Email coding requires understanding table formatting.
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Recommended Qualifications

About the Position

As we continue to expand our Studio e-commerce portfolio, which currently consists of operating official the online stores for Warner Bros., Sony Pictures Television, Cartoon Network, and Turner Broadcasting, we are hiring an E-Commerce Marketing Manager to help execute our online marketing initiatives out of our New York or Los Angeles office.  Duties will include actively managing our SEM campaigns, SEO strategies, social marketing, affiliate program, retargeting campaigns, CRM initiatives, and more. The Manager will work with the EVP of E-Commerce Business Development to rapidly and efficiently grow revenue.

Job Responsibilities

The Manager's primary responsibilities will consist of:
  • Overseeing Online Marketing Initiatives for Studio E-Commerce Portfolio:
    • Set up, manage, and optimize SEM campaigns with a primary focus on Google AdWords, supplemented with efforts on Yahoo and Bing.
    • Refine our SEO strategies to ensure strong position in natural search for all of our sites.
    • Expand our social marketing efforts on Facebook, Instagram, and other leading social channels with both paid ads and unpaid posts.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of online marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in:

    • Facebook Ads and other paid and unpaid social marketing;
    • Affiliate Marketing;
    • Retargeting;
    • CRM; and
    • Optimizing ROI across all efforts.

Araca is looking for a talented and enthusiastic graphic design intern to assist our design team.  Applicants must have strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator and basic HTML. Client Services Assistant  (Los Angeles, CA)

About the Position

The Client Services Assistant is a member of Araca’s Client Services team. The Assistant provides administrative support to Araca’s Client Services, Artist Relations, and Business Development team to manage entertainment industry clients.  The Assistant serves as a client liaison for selected merchandise accounts mostly working with promotional product requests and merchandise report distribution. The Assistant schedules meetings, helps to prepare the office for pitches and client presentations, manages monthly expense accounts for senior executives, and answers telephone calls when needed.  The Assistant facilitates interdepartmental communication as requested, including updating agendas, attending interdepartmental meetings, taking notes, and distributing meetings minutes. The Client Services Assistant reports to the VP of Client Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Client Services team with general administration, including scheduling meetings and coordinating phone calls
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports for select executives
  • Coordinate in-office catering for Client Service related meetings when needed
  • Maintain appointment calendar for Araca’s Client Services and Business Development team
  • Work with other assistants at Araca to make sure the office calendar is scheduled correctly, meetings are happening, and the office is running efficiently
  • Coordinate attendance at entertainment industry conferences and events
